Fall in Colorado is one of my favorite times of year to photograph families. The golden light, changing leaves, and beautiful outdoor locations make the perfect backdrop for relaxed, natural family photos.

This year, I’m offering Limited Edition Fall Mini Sessions at three beautiful locations around the Denver metro area and the foothills. Each date has a limited number of spots available, making these sessions perfect for families who want updated photos without committing to a full-length family session.

What Are Fall Mini Sessions?

Fall mini sessions are a shorter, streamlined photography session that is designed to give you beautiful, professional portraits in a smaller amount of time.

They’re perfect if you’re looking for:

September 20th: Fly’n B Park in Highlands Ranch

We’ll kick off the fall season at Fly’n B Park in Highlands Ranch, with open fields, winding paths, golden grasses, and plenty of natural scenery. It’s a great setting for relaxed family photos with a warm Colorado feel.

October 17th: Hildebrand Ranch in Southwest Littleton

October brings us to Hildebrand Ranch in Southwest Littleton. A charming setting with rustic scenery, old white barn, open fields, and foothill views.

November 14th: Mount Falcon West in Indian Hills

For November, we’re heading into the foothills to Mount Falcon West. With mountain views, big evergreen trees, and rugged Colorado scenery, this location offers a distinctly Colorado backdrop for your family photos.

What to Wear for Fall Family Photos

Fall sessions are a great excuse to bring out cozy layers, warm neutrals, deep jewel tones, and fun textures that photograph beautifully outdoors.

Think sweaters, denim, boots, dresses, jackets, and colors inspired by the season. You don’t need everyone dressed exactly alike … in fact, coordinating colors and textures usually creates a much more natural look. No need to be all matchy matchy.
